This place is unprofessional and unacceptable. We placed an order for an refrigerator and they didn't know how to turn the water off, scrabbled my hardwood floors and never delivered my appliance. With trying to constantly call and get a resolution. The managers don't even know what to do or what is going on. These people are useless and have no compassion for their clients. Will not order again nor do we recommend.

Our online purchase experience was fine.  Delivery was horrendous. After an all day wait, they finally showed up at dinnertime.  Had no idea they were supposed to install the stove (which I had paid for), but didn't know how install it anyway. They just left the new stove in the middle of my kitchen. Questions were answered with grunts and shoulder shrugs. They dropped my old stove down my brick steps. Basically, they acted like they truly didn't care about any part of this delivery or their job.  They dropped pieces and left them for us to pick up. My husband had to follow them and pick up the pieces three different times. They were incompetent and unprofessional. We spent several hours the next morning installing it ourselves. I called to talk with someone afterwards. They never answered.  I left a voice mail and they never returned my call. I'm, let's say, disappointed.

I appreciate how professional and helpful Eddie was. He made the buying process and explained everything in detail.

When we had an issue with one of the appliances we purchased, a refrigerator, his resolution of the issue was amazingly quick and honest. Found a refrigerator online, but thank goodness I  didn't pay for it. I drove to the midlothian store first but was headed to Richmond location.  The guys in Midlothian said they knew what frig I was looking for, but they didn't have it. They said go to RVA  store,  so I did. RVA store said that frig is in Midlothian. I disagreed, but they were adamant that the Midlothian store had it. So I drove back to Midlothian and walked around.  Salesman came over and said the one I saw online, over 30 people in the past month, have come to the store looking for it. He said we have it in the back, but it doesn't produce cold air and has bad meat smell in it from a previous owner. They said it's going back to the factory.  I'm not sure what was true from everything I heard was true or I could trust all the sales people, but I was able get a better deal at Lowe's in Chester and happy I didn't purchase anything from American Freight.

Md was a very respectful employee and had wonderful customer service, I will come to buy more items from this store thank you so much

His negotiation ability was able to secure us the ideal dining room set for our home and we appreciate that. He also extended help in loading the furniture  in our car, and was willing to stay back after 7:30 to make sure we got everything taken care of as far as our business and securing the furniture in our car. I hope you can see by the picture below how important it was for us to get the furniture. All of my grandchildren the next morning were able to sit around and eat breakfast together. Just purchased a refrigerator from them. Very easy process online. The prices are reasonable depending on what you're looking for. The delivery arrived within the time frame given. I received a call when they were on the way. The guys were courteous and handled the new frig with care. Would definitely recommend this place.

I would do no stars if I could. Went there to buy a sofa set and a couch. Right off the bat it is noticeably dirty and dingy. We walked around the floor looking at sofas for almost 10 minutes before we even laid eyes on a worker. Not a single worker came up to us asking if we needed help with anything. Eventually went to the checkout desk with a sofa and rug we were wanting to get ($1700 worth). The gentleman behind the counter, was beyond disinterested in helping us. Eventually he and his workers went back to find the sofa. They were missing the connection piece. So instead of keeping us updated, my partner and I overheard them talking about how they were gonna try and play off not having the extra piece. While all this is going on, multiple other sales associates walk by and not a single one stopped to ask if we were being helped. After 30 minutes my partner and I called a different American freight who said they would have everything we were looking for all ready to go if we stop by later. So my partner and I left. Will never come back to this place. What a disappointment in customer service.

Gazi was extremely helpful in my refrigerator purchase. He greeted me as soon as I walked in, walked me over to show me where the refrigerators were, and then touched base with me a little later. He definitely made it a great experience without being overbearing or pushy.

We have spent $20k at American Freight this year. No more. We bought a washing machine that they damaged getting to our car. They ‘gave us’ $100 off but took forever ringing it up. They gave me an entire new invoice rather than a credit. I checked a couple of days later and the card hadn’t been credited the $100. I called, they checked, and said it hadn’t appeared. They were apologetic saying they would make the correction and it would take 7 days for it to show. Nope it never showed up. So they lost a good customer.

Great experience, knowledgeable staff . Easy application.
